Photometric Analyzers

Custom Sensors & Technology offers the top of the line photometric analyzer to meet our customers’ needs. We offer single or dual wavelength photometric analyzers that filter light at application-specific wavelengths. Additionally, we can evaluate your process samples to determine the best filters for your particular application. All photometric analyzers can be packaged in enclosures for general purpose or electrical area specific environments.

Front Surface Fluorescence Probe

Our Integrated Front Surface Fluorescence Probe, as its name suggests, is designed to measure the surface fluorescence of a liquid, solid, paste, or slurry. The probe’s internal optics focus the light from a source on the wetted side of the window, thus eliminating the need to penetrate the sample for a reading. This concentrated focus and shallow penetration depth significantly reduces the inner filter effect when compared to other competitive optical devices.

Single & Double Pass Transmission Probes

Our process-ready transmission probes enable inline measurement of gas or liquid sample streams in demanding industrial environments. The transmission probes direct light energy from a source SMA-905 connection through a sample and return the light energy to a measure SMA-905 connection via a prism. The Single Pass Transmission Probe is designed to facilitate absorbance measurements when the concentration within a gas or liquid sample stream is high. The Double Pass Transmission Probe is designed to facilitate transmission and/or absorbance measurements when the concentration within a gas or liquid sample stream is low.

Cross Flow Cell

We carry both ⅜”  and ½” cross flow cells with adjustable path lengths in a variety of construction materials (316 SS, Titanium, Hastelloy C-276, or another material per customer specification).

The spectral properties of a sample can be measured when used in conjunction with our Optical Interface Couplers (OICs) and our PX2 photometric analyzer via SMA-905 connections.
